Sustainable Livelihoods & Vocational Training Program

 

Transform Lives with Practical Skills: Support Job Training and Income Opportunities

 

Equipping adults and youth with practical skills is vital for breaking the cycle of poverty. Our vocational training and sustainable business education programs provide tools for micro-enterprise development, job placement, and economic resilience. We empower individuals to create their own income-generating opportunities.

 

Project: Vocational Training Program

Program Type: Social and Educational Objective.

Countries: Panama – Costa Rica. 

Duration: Undefined. Permanent project. 

Location:  Ngöbe Bugle Tribe (Border zone Costa Rica Panama). 

 

Objectives: 

 

  • Provide Practical Job Skills
    Equip youth and adults in vulnerable communities with hands-on vocational training in areas such as agriculture, construction, textiles, and sustainable crafts to enhance employability.

  • Promote Micro-Enterprise Development
    Support participants in launching small, income-generating businesses through business education, mentorship, and access to basic tools and resources.

  • Foster Long-Term Economic Resilience
    Build local economic capacity by empowering individuals to become self-reliant, contribute to their communities, and break the cycle of poverty through sustainable livelihoods.
